David Palou
Barcelona, May 8th, 1976.
I have lived my childhood to adolescence in Vilassar de Mar (Barcelona), in July 1992, my family and I moved to the village of Vilobí d'Onyar (Girona). That is where I began to have a more direct contact with the world of art and to train myself as a self-taught artist.
I worked from 2002 until 2012 in two artistic smelleders of the province of Girona (artistic Fonería Barberí, artistic Fonería Riudellots). Those were the most innovative and instructive experiences of my life! I learned the craft of the melting of the lost wax. I have participated in the work of different national and international artists, make part of their projects and grow professionally with them has been a great privilege. Without any doubt a world of sensations that have made grow the desire to follow in the footsteps of these masters.
Since 2013 up to today, I resided in Barcelona capital where I realize my sarcastic Oeuvres. In 2015, I started to work as freelance in the restoration of heritage in different companies of Barcelona and I also collaborate in the construction of atrezzo for companies Addaura Teatre visual and Teia Moner.
